Hey guys! It’s been a while.
On our last day of camping in the Redwoods (which was lots of fun, by the way!), I woke up feeling congested. Little did I know, I was about to be absolutely miserable for the next 5 days. With a terrible cold and excruciating headaches, basically all of my productivity and blogging had to be put on the back burner. I’m feeling much better today, though.. Thank goodness!
In my opinion, if there’s one thing at thrift stores that’s overlooked, it’s definitely vintage lingerie. Although most will look at these garments and think, “Ew. Who would honestly buy used underwear?”, I flock to the stuff. Now, I’m not saying I would go as far as purchasing used G-strings (or anything with stains! Eeek!).. I’m talking about beautiful, silky camisoles and slip dresses.
I bought this vintage white slip dress from the Saint Vincent store in Kennewick, WA for $2.00. It’s a little sheer, so I’m actually wearing another white dress underneath! The bust area is nicely shaped and accentuates my small chest. With the length of the dress being right below the knee, it keeps me looking modest, while still being sexy!
The bolo I’m wearing has a pretty tulip pendant! How fun, right? While making this one, I decided to pair it with a brown cord and am very happy with the way it turned out 🙂 You can find it on my Etsy shop here!
I found these Doc Marten boots at a Goodwill in Beaverton, OR. You should have seen me freaking out when I first saw them, haha 🙂 I’ve always wanted a pair of brown Docs and these were my size, in perfect condition, and only $20! It was basically a “COME TO MAMMA!” moment for me.
