Ah, at last… It’s officially June and the weather has been nice and toasty up here in Eastern Oregon. This is seriously my favorite time of the year! Forget spring and fall.. The summer months are what this girl lives for 🙂 Warm breezes, sweating in the scorching sun, drinking Coronas, and going commando under skirts & dresses…. I FREAKING LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT!!
I’ve been really good about spray tanning the last few weeks, so I’ve been showing off my legs and giving them lots of fresh air! I’ve also gotten back into my workout routine and have barely been able to walk because I’ve been so sore, haha. I guess that’s my punishment for eating so much ice cream over the last few months.
We were headed to the river to do some swimming, so I decided to wear my black sun hat to keep my sensitive little face from getting sun burned. The hat originally came with a cheesy gold chain, so I ripped it off and braided some leather cord to make my own hat band 🙂
I bought this thrifted skirt from Buffalo Exchange in Portland, Oregon for around $10.00. The scalloped hem is so cute!! The rich, brown color goes great with my black blouse, too. Pairing black and brown is the ultimate combo, don’t you think?? It’s earthy, yet sultry and mysterious.
I polished off this look with my gladiator-style Franco Sarto sandals, my favorite thrifted tooled leather belt, and this GORGEOUS wooden rose pendant bolo.
The bolo is still available on my Etsy shop and there’s only ONE available!
